Reverentia Sui ("the App," "we," "us," or "our") is published by [Joshua Ellis]. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your information. We have built Reverentia Sui to be private by design: it runs entirely on your device, and we do not operate servers that collect, store, or receive your personal information. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Overview

The App works fully offline and stores everything only on your device. We, the developer, cannot see, access, or receive any of the information you enter — there is no account, no login, and no backend server. The only information that leaves your device is what is necessary to process your one-time purchase, which is handled by the app store (Google Play or Apple) and by RevenueCat, our purchase-management provider. We do not use advertising, we do not use analytics or tracking SDKs, and we do not sell or share your personal information.

Information stored on your device

To do its job, the App lets you enter and generate information that is saved locally on your device (using on-device storage). This may include: Details about your nicotine use, such as device type (disposable, pod, or mod), amount used per day, years of use, and self-reported monthly spend. Your reasons for quitting and your personal triggers (selections and free text).Your "Future Self" reflection — which may include text you write and, if you choose, a voice recording or a video. Your stated goal and its cost. Your quit date, streak history, craving logs, and breath-session activity. App settings and preferences. This information never leaves your device and is never transmitted to us. We do not have a server that receives it, and we cannot retrieve it. It exists only in the App's local storage on your device.

Information processed for purchases

The App offers a single one-time purchase ("Lifetime unlock"). When you make a purchase: The payment itself is processed by your app store — Google Play (Google) or the App Store (Apple). We never receive or store your payment card or full billing details. These are governed by the store's own privacy policy. We use RevenueCat to manage and verify your purchase and to restore it across reinstalls. RevenueCat receives purchase-related information such as an anonymous app-user identifier, purchase receipts/tokens, and basic device and platform information used to validate and fraud-check the transaction. RevenueCat does not receive any of the personal information you enter into the App (your habits, reflections, media, etc.).Because the App has no accounts, your purchase is associated with an anonymous identifier, not with your name or email. Device permissions

The App may ask for the following permissions. Each is optional and used only on your device for the feature described: Microphone — only if you choose to record a "Future Self" voice note. The recording is saved locally and is not transmitted to us. Camera / Videos — only if you choose to add a "Future Self" video. The video is saved locally and is not transmitted to us. Notifications — to send local reminders (e.g., your daily breath ritual or streak milestones). Notifications are scheduled and delivered on your device; there is no push server and no notification data is sent to us. You can grant or revoke these permissions at any time in your device's settings. Declining a permission only disables the related optional feature.

How information is used

Information stored on your device is used solely to provide the App's features to you — tracking your progress, showing your money saved and health milestones, surfacing your Future Self during cravings, and personalizing the experience. Purchase information is used only to unlock and restore your one-time purchase. We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or analytics.

Data sharing and selling

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information. The only data sharing that occurs is the limited purchase information processed by the app stores and RevenueCat, as described above, strictly to complete and maintain your purchase. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics services.

Data retention and deletion

Because your information is stored only on your device, you are in control of it. Deleting the App removes the locally stored data associated with it from your device. Any voice recordings or photos you saved through the App are removed as well (unless you separately exported or saved them elsewhere yourself).We have no server-side copy of your in-app information to delete, because we never receive it. Purchase records held by the app stores and RevenueCat are retained according to their policies; you can exercise data rights with those providers directly using the links above.

Children's privacy

Reverentia Sui concerns nicotine cessation and is intended only for adults aged 18 and older. The App is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. The App includes an age gate at onboarding.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the EU/UK GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), including rights to access, correct, or delete personal information, and the right not to have personal information sold (we do not sell it).Because the personal information you enter is stored only on your device and never transmitted to us, you can exercise most of these rights directly — by viewing, editing, or deleting your data within the App, or by uninstalling the App. For purchase-related data, contact the relevant store or RevenueCat. Security

Your in-app information is protected by your device's own security (such as your device passcode, biometrics, and operating-system protections). Purchase data transmitted to the app stores and RevenueCat is protected in transit using industry-standard encryption. No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, but because we hold none of your personal information on our own systems, your exposure is limited to your device and the store/RevenueCat providers.

International users

The App stores your information locally, wherever you are. Purchase processing by the app stores and RevenueCat may involve processing in the United States or other countries. By making a purchase, you understand that this limited purchase information may be processed in those locations under the providers' policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide notice within the App or store listing. Your continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
